At Freethinking therapy our aim is to provide you with space, where you are free to be yourself with someone independent of your usual circle, where you won’t be led or given advice; instead, you’ll be free to express yourself without fear of judgement. Many people find this is a rare and valuable opportunity to truly be themselves where you are not only accepted but welcomed.
I am a qualified counsellor and a registered member of the BACP, adhering to their ethical guidelines. I regularly update my skills and knowledge through ongoing training and courses focused on counselling and supportive practices.
My core approach is person centred however I also draw on other therapeutic theories, tailoring our work together to best suit your needs.
I strive to truly understand your unique perspective and your personal world, so we can work together to find solutions and move forward in a way that feels right for you. Like many counsellors, my own life experiences and a processes of self-discovery has shaped my passion for helping others navigate their challenges.
Choosing the right therapist is an important decision, and I understand how vital it is to feel comfortable with your choice. That's why I offer a free introductory call. This relaxed yet meaningful conversation allows us to connect, discuss your needs, and explore how I can support you on your journey toward healing and growth where you can decide if I’m the right fit for you with no obligation.
Counselling can support you through life's challenges—whether they’re related to difficult experiences, emotions, or events. Issues such as depression, anxiety, and harmful behaviours can often be symptoms of unresolved problems. Counselling offers the opportunity to explore why these challenges may be affecting you and helps unpick patterns that no
longer serve you.
Perhaps you’ve noticed repeating patterns in your life that you want to understand better. Sometimes, counselling simply gives you the time and space to be authentically you.
